North Yorkshire County Council provides a complete range of education services. These pages provide information for parents, pupils and students, school governors and others.
Our work incorporates all aspects of education for life through the provision of early years education, schools, adult learning and the youth service. We are responsible for 388 schools, two Pupil Referral Units, Adult Learning and Youth Service provision providing learning opportunities for over 87,000 students and 24,000 adult learners across North Yorkshire. In addition we have an Outdoor Education service and an Instrumental Music service with centres all over the county.
Our aim is to promote "excellence for all" through lifelong learning for the people who live, work and study in North Yorkshire.
