Each conference will include:

  • Keynote speakers from national and local organisations;

  • Participatory workshops to help identify tasks, resources and approaches to becoming or supporting a sustainable school;

  • A market place of local, regional and national organisations that support sustainable schools and local authorities;

  • Opportunities to meet and talk with other schools from your region; and

  • A range of workshops including climate change, biodiversity and leadership to celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity 2010.

All workshops are interactive and participatory and throughout the conference we shall be using the overarching themes of ‘how to start your sustainable schools journey’ and ‘how to plan your year ahead’.

Confirmed workshops include:

  • Biodiversity and Climate Change workshops – looking at and reviewing new resources and planning your work – SEEd and WWF-UK;

  • How to run an unstoppable Green Team – ecoACTIVE;
  • Ways to Wellbeing and a Happy Planet – DECSY; and
  • PowerDown – ActionAid!
