Sunrise Bushcraft Train the Trainer Course

Description:

The courses are held on a 700 acre woodland on the edge of the New Forest. This is currently the only bushcraft school to be approved activity providers for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, offering professional qualifications in bushcraft through the NCFE and the John Muir award for conservation.

Designed around a Bushcraft and Woodland living programme the course will allow participants to not only practice and hone their existing skills but also learn a range of new skills under expert tuition that will increase their knowlege and activity structure they are able to offer.

All instructors are professionally qualified in their fields and will be covering topics such as: Fire and Fire lays, Water filtration and purification, Safe use of cutting tools, Natural and manmade shelters, Wild food, Medicinal plants, Useful trees, Tracking, Field craft, Camp hygiene, Outdoor cooking skills, Lesson planning and delivery, Risk assessment.

These courses are now also running in various locations around the country throughout the year.
