Growing Schools Conference; From the Ground Up

Description:

Workshops will take full advantage of the on-site expertise and facilities, and are likely to include Edible container gardens, Composting, Running an apple day and Organic pest and disease control.

Tim Lang, Professor of Food Policy at City University and President of Garden Organic, will give the keynote speech. He has particular expertise in food safety, sustainable food production, the globalisation of food, and obesity, and he always has something interesting and challenging to say.

Conference costs £100 per delegate, to include lunch and refreshments. Places are strictly limited, and early birds get a significant discount. Book before January 31st 2011 and save £20 per person.
