Sustainability and Environmental Education
Supporting education for a more sustainable world.

SEEd (Sustainability and Environmental Education) is a CEE project with the primary objective of enabling more of the education sector to engage with Education for Sustainable Development and environmental education.  It will be a place to share, learn, develop new ideas and understand what changes are happening. SEEd will do this through its good relationships with government, business, teachers and NGO’s.

Driving Sustainable Education / ESD

SEEd will be a national membership body that will facilitate wide stakeholder engagement processes, promote shared learning and develop cross sector partnerships.  This will be done through:

  • facilitating learning workshops for members;

  • an engaging and interactive website providing a gateway into SEEd’s work, member organisations, networking opportunities and current news;

  • research into issues and practice that  will help everyone e.g. understanding teachers needs, or a baseline of practice; and

  • events, such as the SEEd launch event in November, to highlight the state of environmental education and education for sustainable development in our schools.
