SEEd Executive and Observatory Board Meeting, 25th September 2009

The new charity SEEd (Sustainability and Environmental Education) which has replaced CEE, announces its first Executive and Observatory Board Meeting at which we shall nominate a Chair for both Boards.

The AGM will be held on the 25th September 2009 from 9.00am to 1.00pm at:

There are 2 boards and opportunities to help with SEEd in its exciting new phase.

  1. Board of Trustees
  2. The Observatory Board (sub-committee to the Board and Staff)

The main Board is responsible for the running of the organisation according to Charity Commission rules, appoints the Chief Executive, runs the AGM, approves membership services, helps with fund raising, approves annual budgets, and accounts as well as advising the staff. Between 6 and 9 Board members can be appointed and meets no more than 3 times per year.

The Observatory is the advisory group to the main board which discusses and advises on policy, opportunities , programmes and potential partnerships and funding. A member of the main Board Chairs this committee. It is envisaged that up to 12 people can sit on this Board which meets no more than 3 times per year.
